Software shaped by operations
Windows desktop, web management and mobile interfaces are selected according to where they will be used, offline needs and maintainability. Critical control and management functions remain distinct. Database design, permissions and backup requirements are established early.
Data collection and reporting
Collected PLC and device data needs timestamps, units, quality indicators and sampling definitions. SQL Server can be considered where appropriate. Production and dispatch reports are designed around actual operational decisions.
- Production and dispatch workflows
- Industrial data acquisition and device monitoring
- Role-based access and operation traceability
- Backup, recovery and data export
ERP and e-dispatch interfaces
Before integration, API documentation, permissions, field mappings and failure scenarios are reviewed. Duplicate prevention, retries and reconciliation are part of the design. External system licences or service charges are assessed separately.
Technical questions
Where is data stored?
Data location, retention and access are agreed at the start of the project. On-premises or suitable hosted deployment is assessed against security and operational needs.
